Just wondering if I qualified for any scholarships or financial aid as an international undergrad.
wouldn’t that be loverly?
But no. Well, not really.
There are a fair few post-grad awards, and there are some (typically very small- say 1K) bursaries for very specific things (best marks on the physics entry paper, for example) and a couple of bigger ones (famously, there is one for people who are committed to going in to the shipping industry, but it’s a one-off).
And of course, there’s FAFSA (code is G06839).
One of the reasons that International students, especially Americans, get into even very competitive courses just by meeting the requirements (unlike UK students) is that they are full pay.
If you’re US citizen/resident and file FAFSA, you could get Federal Direct Loans as Financial Aid. See http://www.ed.ac.uk/student-funding/financial-support/student-loans/usa/apply
