<p>I finally received admission into the computer science program. 3.7 gpa from a florida school. I do have some restrictions. I must “complete” calculus with analytical geometry 3 and gen chem 1… Does not really matter though, already got into Maryland! </p>
<p>Received my acceptance last friday. From the day my transcripts arrived to the day of my acceptance it was a little over a month for me. Now the hunt for housing is on. </p>

I am finishing up my AA degree right now at Florida community college.
I applied to CALS microbiology and cell science, and I am still waiting on their final decision…
Is anyone know why they are taking so long time to make a decision??</p>

I applied for the exact same program. I called them about a week or so ago and they said they were still finishing up summer applications and that the latest we would know anything is July 15th. And yes…waiting is hard ><</p>
<p>My friend and I both applied for APK w/ Exercise Physiology specialization… She said she found out last Thursday by checking her status online that she didn’t get in. However, I haven’t gotten any updates. The advisor said I should know by the end of this month… I’m just curious because I thought (1) everyone found out at the same time for this college (HHP) and (2) an e-mail would be sent out, regardless if you get in or not. </p>

I shoud have applied for summer term, then i dont have to wait this long…

<p>Hey guys, I got a call from Admissions but unfortunately I was in school, just about to take a final exam for a programming class, and the person who called me asked if it was a good time to talk. I told her that I was about to take the final and she understood, and was overall very nice the entire time, and even wished me luck lol.</p>
<p>She asked when she could call me back and suggested tomorrow at 3 pm but I knew I could’t wait so long lol so I told her at 9 am and she said OK great! I did asked her if there was something wrong, and she said no…So right now I’m feeling very anxious and I can’t wait until 9 am tomorrow!!! Is it normal for them to call transfer students regarding their applications???</p>
<p>Do they ever give admission decision on the phone?? I check my status online everyday, I applied on January 21st and my application was refered to my College on February 19th. </p>
<p>154 days since they received my application.
They still have not made a final decision yet.
I am starting to worry about the registration for the fall semester.
I wonder if they would make the decision tomorrow.

<p>CALS is notorious for taking forever with their admission decisions. I applied for fall 2013 in December and didn’t get a decision until late July. I know how hard it is to wait, but don’t let the wait worry you. It’s normal and doesn’t mean that you’re more likely to be rejected. I can’t believe it was a year ago I was waiting to find out. Seems like yesterday

<p>Just heard from the APK this morning by checking online; wasn’t accepted.</p>
<p>I applied for the Health Education and Behavior Program and still have yet to hear back. Has anyone been admitted yet? Or does anyone know the average gpa they normally take in and do they mainly look at preprof gpa?</p>

<p>How do you check the online status? I also got an email from the advisor saying that 9 were already admitted but there are 3 spots left so I don’t know what that means for me…</p>
<p>I’m accepted!!! Applied March 30, got my transcripts sent the day this spring when grades were available, and was accepted today! I looked online around 3pm and found out! English major, 3.4 GPA. Yes it takes a bit and it can suck to wait, but its worth it!! Good Luck to the rest of you!!</p>
<p>I got accepted! I applied to be in CALS as a biology major and I’m enrolling for the Fall 2014 term. I really thought CALS was going to take forever (relatively, it did) for my admission decision, since on their Facebook page it said that the latest we’d get to know was by July. <p>I applied to CAS as a transfer applicant on march 1st for a mathematics degree but as of today UF still hasn’t reviewed my profile, or at least they haven’t updated my Gatorlink account. Yesterday I got an E-mail telling me I’m on the waitlist for housing as a Male Incoming Student … Does that mean I was accepted, or am I on the waitlist just because I applied for housing?</p>
