Anyone have any info on prior year Presidential Scholarship awardee stats? I’m hoping my son gets some significant $ but I’ve been searching the internet without much success.
I also heard they don’t send out scholarship information with acceptances, rather a couple of weeks later. Seems to me that having that info sooner rather than later would help kids sort things out.
I’ll be glad once this is over… I wasn’t prepared for the stress.
Yes I think it was maybe 2 or 3 weeks after the acceptance that the scholarship information came.
For anyone wondering, decisions were released around 5pm (EST…I think) last year! I can’t remember if it was on the dot or a few mins before but they definitely didn’t release them too early.
It was 5:15 last year, but the UF rep on the board here said it will be closer to 6 on the dot this year. But that won’t stop be from checking at 5:15 lol.
Those last 15 minutes were the WORST I swear I was on the edge of my seat as every minute passed by

Weird question, but do you remember if there was a status update button when you got your decision or did it just open right when you logged on. Because I don’t want to see it until I mentally prepare myself lol.
There was a status update message in the admissions portal that you’ll click on to reveal your decision

Well there are more than a few people still there but we definitely give people time to leave campus 
D23, Freshman at UF, didn’t like OSU at all but really liked Miami University on that trip.

Any portal astrology to make the wait more fun?
I’ve found nothing. Its normally pretty hard with one page only portals. The earliest portal astrology generally starts is like 2 days before so maybe wenseday or so we might find something?
Any chance that I can get into UF with a horrible SAT score(I freeze for some reason) But a good GPA in IB classes and pretty good extra curricular activities (sports, theatre, volunteer hours - 200)I even attended a conference for a week over the summer at a university in VA of a subject that I’m interested in studying? I’m terrified that all they will care about is my horrible SAT score 
My daughter is in the same boat. Not so good SAT score but at the top of her class and decent, not great, EC’s. She has been in all honors classes since 9th grade and her school doesn’t provide AP classes. We feel that Florida will only see that SAT score
