are you able to see the link to the housing website in your portal?
My current list of things in my portal:
-Picture
-Greeting
-Form box with UF ID
-App checklist.
-We have recieved SSAR box
-test score box
-housing application box
-upload materials box
-verify adress box
-quick links box
Is this what everyone else has?

yes, and between “UF ID” box and “we have received SSAR” box, i have an “application checklist” box

Same - our scores are showing.
I think it is for everyone. Nothing here portal astrology wise. I also can’t find anything in the source code to indicate anything. Also tried to set up gatorlink again today to no avail. We probably won’t know till 6 tomorrow. 28 hours left!

It could also be a way to gauge interest. It is smart.
I don’t think so. Wouldn’t be fair to those who could not pay. I doubt they consider if you made your housing deposit or not.

I think with tens of thousands of applicants, the process might start to become algorithmic, with that possibly some minute factor figuring into the algorithm. We should always remember how important yield is to admissions. If these colleges make an offer, they want you to take it. And they need to know who’s likely to take it. That’s critical information. Yield impacts things like US News Rankings, which in turn impacts everything. It really has become about math.
That said, I doubt this has any relevance to you whatsoever.
