And those balloons can be really expensive. I just read somewhere that someone is on their way to UF now for a tour while waiting for the decision and another person said that they are going out to buy balloons. Meanwhile - I’m thinking, what if your kid does not get in??? I guess a lot of people are super confident that they will get in?

Nope, not in my portal.
That I get - but these reaction videos can be a bit insane with the swag that they all have. I plan to get plenty swag, but only at the school that my kid gets accepted at. I don’t think that she would want to see orange and blue balloons if she gets a rejection today.

Our Son got admitted to Notre Dame REA in Dec and we were all there and had video set up recording . He was like worst case we delete it best case we have an awesome video … luckily we had an awesome video

True - I get videotaping for the moment (in case it is a positive one) - but purchasing all the swag seems a little pre-mature. But I also wonder if the parents checked the portal in advance before their kid had a chance to check.

We got swag at all the schools he applied to — 6 of them 
. I wanted to be prepared for whatever may happen … however Gator swag was easy as we are UF alumni so plenty of that
