no if those are the schools you want to attend you did it right! i was trying to get a full ride which is why i did so many but i was lucky enough to qualify for a 3rd party scholarship so cost is no longer a factor for me

They are probably putting most of their server capacity to run the admissions portal, so the housing portal might run slow as a result.

Some of you all are dedicated to the application process. My Daughter applied to 8 total schools, and I thought that was enough. UF is our last one. Current top 3 of UGA, Clemson, and VT

This is so stressful.

UW 4.0 I don’t know how to calc his weighted but he has a bunch of AP, AICE, and honors
ACT 35 (not super scored)
Varsity swim Cpt x 2yrs, multiple school records
Clubs (member and president)
Volunteers tutoring for ACT at his LOW performing school, and teaching kids to swim
Part time job (manual labor)
Speaks 2 languages

I guess the 2 rejections he’s gotten so far (UPenn and UT Austin) just make me worry.

He should be fine. UT Austin is insane for OOS especially and UPenn is an ivy. UF is competitive, but not even close to those 2. Both of those acceptances rates are in the single digits while UF is high teens to mid twenties generally.

Those 2 rejections are for incredibly difficult schools though. You look like you would have an awesome shot at UF.

UF compares kids from the same school right? I transferred high schools sophomore year so I am just curious how that would work.

On a side note, did anyone’s colleges say they received their FAFSA yet? My brother and I applied on Jan 1st and 2nd and they are still saying “under review”. I have friends who’s colleges say they received theirs. Just wondering.
