University of Florida: Regular Decision 2024

D20 accepted to both Honors Freshman and Undergraduate Research Scholars Program (URSP). It doesn’t seem to say what major she was accepted to. She applied for Computer Science. How does she find out if she is accepted for Computer Science?
Her Stats: (OOS)
35 ACT
NMF
unweighted GPA: 4.0
11 AP classes
Captain of Varsity sport and other ECS

For those upset about not getting into honors, they allow you to apply again after your freshman year depending on GPA (I think a 3.5 or higher) Congrats everyone

@janiemiranda UF doesn’t admit major specific. If she wants Computer Science then that is what she is. At preview she’ll meet with advisors to be on track registering for the right classes.

Denied

SAT: 1290
Unweighted GPA: 3.80
Weighted: 5.08
Recalculated: 4.5
Class Rank: 36/686
Decent ECs

I’m also a dual enrollment student and will graduate with 56 credits/17 classes (14 courses done so far and of those, 13 As and one B ). Just out of curiousity, why does it state that I am an applicant receiving my AA degree upon graduating high school although i’ll be 4 credit hours short?

Congratulations to those accepted!

Did anyone get merit and if so is it on your acceptance letter or does that come at a later date?

Daughter accepted to both Honors Freshman and Undergraduate Research Scholars Program (URSP)

@VikingDad15 Our daughters are almost academic twins  and got the same offer.

Accepted with honors woohooo

my D got rejected at UF :-(, got into FSU

I am very excited to say OOS S20 was accepted. He is not too thrilled about the Summer B option, but I actually think that it could be a great opportunity to get adjusted and get a feel for College Just happy that he now has the option vs not having UF as an option at all. Very exciting for sure. UF is one of the most difficult schools to get in especially with Florida Pre Paid and OOS…Now let the debate in this house of UF vs UGA vs Ohio State… UGH Go Gators

I promise you Summer B was the best decision I could have made…I was deciding between UF and OSU as well and I am beyond happy at UF

In for Fall! 4.0 unweighted. 1450 SAT. National Merit Finalist. Third Gator in the house!

OOS son denied. Was his first choice. Ugg.
32 ACT
3.4 gpa…school does not offer AP classes so no bump although courses were rigorous.
Will need to choose between his 2 second choices now: FSU and Miami. Good options to have. Later Gators.

My D accepted in state to Honors Program.
35 ACT

4.0 gpa

Now has some tough decisions…good luck to everyone!

lots of ecs and leadership positions. Also volunteering experience that connects to my major really well. I think I showed my genuine interest in my ecs and major through my essays.
Now I’m really hoping for more scholarships so I can actually go
Congrats to everyone accepted!!!
