<p>Hello, I am a high school junior who wishes to major in Theatre at UH. I have a few questions. How hard is it to get into the BFA program? How is the Theatre community at UH? Are there Film opportunities in the university? And I’m a pretty average student, so how difficult is it to gain admission to UH if you don’t happen to meet the entry requirements? Sorry to lay that all on you, but thank you for your time.</p>
<p>Being in downtown Houston, with Alley Theater and TUTS in close to the school is a giant help. And I think you would be fine. UofH’s lowest tier is top 50% with a 24 ACT OR 1100 cr + M. As long as you have that you’re in. There are lot of my people at my high school that go to UofH if they didn’t get into UT or A&M because of automatic acceptance. </p>
