Applied RD for engineering OOS. Does anybody know the acceptance rate? I can’t seem to find anything online, but overall seems to be around 25% for OOS (EA + RD combined). Not sure how difficult it is to be accepted during regular round though.
It’s certainly much more difficult during RD. The actual info is not published by the school, but my educated guess is less than 10% acceptance for OOS Engineering in RD. EA is not restrictive, and most of the acceptances go out to those applicants.
What time will the decision come today for a regular decision applicant?
I think people are still posting in the EA thread. Not sure if people will migrate here?
Officially 4pm but usually releases about 30 minutes earlier.
We are international. About 8 hours back, it showed you are not eligible to withdraw. Now i see the blue withdraw button. Anyone else experienced this? any idea what this could indicate? this is when i go through the link provided earlier in this thread. it does not show on the dashboard page
Was this before or after they accidentally released decisions and updated the portal? I wasn’t there for that, so I only know what the portal was like before that happened. A few of my friends do not remember seeing this yesterday either so I’m not sure.
100% accurate: when you check later today, if it says “You’re an Illini!”, that means you got in! Everything else is just silliness to help manage nerves. Good luck to everyone!

Yes.. for one of my kids - it showed not eligible to withdraw and today it shows the withdrawn option button. For the second kid- the withdraw form was available yesterday and today. We will know this evening for sure!
I can withdrawl now. Yesterday not eligible. So nervoussss

I haven’t had any of the buttons in the top right of status page since the site went down yesterday.
