Yes, congrats and the checklist but the admission letter link says “No Notice of Admission is available at this time.”

Has anyone gotten into their second choice major? DS was deferred but I am surprised he did not receive his second choice major of undecided.
Accepted into gies with a 4.27 weighted gpa and test optional! Proof that anything is possible!

A deferral signals that he is still being considered for his first choice major in regular decision. Second choice major would only come in to play if he is rejected from first choice major during regular decision. Hang tight- he’s still in the game!

I got deferred from UIUC Engineering OOS but accepted Georgia Tech OOS and UVA OOS for Engineering. Anyone have similar results?

What are the chances for deferred students getting in RD?
DD OOS accepted for Brain and Cognitive Science. 4.2 W, 3.9 UW, 11 APs, one community college course, strong ECs, leadership in multiple school clubs, hospital volunteering, public hs in CA. DD is excited because she really likes the major / program.

Got deferred at GT and admitted Illinois….Unusual for the opposite, but who knows what goes into these decisions. Congrats on GT!
