What astrology should we be looking to??? 
D26 checked her Illinois Portal today - and she reports it has changed the listing of her status from EA next week to Regular Decision in March. She checks all of her app school portals on Fridays - an is certain she was listed EA decision previously.
Anyone else have this occur?
She’s emailed the admission office to inquire - but of course its late afternoon on a Friday so probably won’t hear back for several days into next week.
My D’s portal still says “Complete for Early Action - Your decision will be available on January 30, 2026.” We are in-State. Under the “Received” heading, does your portal show that the Self-Reported Academic Record was received? That’s the only thing I can think of that could be missing and have kicked it into RD…. Hopefully, admissions gets back with an answer soon.

She is OOS.
Illinois Portal clearly says Regular Decision March 6th
Received Items:
ACT/SAT Scores - submitted 11/1/2025
App Fee Paid 10/31/2025
Self Reported Academic Record 11/5/2025
Her Common Ap listed it as submitted Early Action
.. She’s certain UIUC portal has reported her as EA decision for months previously. All of her applications have been EA - none submitted for RD.
I guess we will just have to wait to hear back from admissions.

I had my daughter check and she confirms that she still is shown as EA.
C26’s still says EA as well. We are OOS. @Crapshooter , what major is she applying for - is it one of the more competitive ones?

And she just checked portal - it has her back to EA Decision January 30.

Have her re-check. I just saw something about this on Reddit and they said they think it’s a glitch. They saw Regular and then it switched back to Early Action.

Looking through last year’s thread this doesn’t seem to mean anything. People who “lost” the button were both admitted and denied. People who could always see the button were both admitted and denied.

i still see it
My “Change Major” button just disappeared but the “Withdraw Application” button is still there. Does anyone else see anything similar/different?
