I feel bad saying it but isn’t it super super super hard to get in for computer science. I wouldn’t take their high stats as a tell that the withdrawal gone is a good sign. On the other hand I have awful stats and my withdrawal is still there so that’s probably a good sign for y’all.

Daughter have same stats, we are OOS, so chances are very very slim, especially for CS. Dont have withdraw form. Is your friend in state or OOS?

it’s super super super hard for plain cs, but cs+physics is quite a bit less competitive, and that last bit does make me feel a little better :sob: but also don’t fret too much considering the prevailing theory is that withdrawal form available is a good sign

This is now officially turning out to be my second most entertaining CC thread after Madison… lol…
Love it when I see people who can manage humor despite the stress

Still have my withdrawal option, and still looping back for admitted student scheduling

OOS, 3.9, TO, Psych, deferred at Michigan & Wisconsin.

You do the math…

Hang in there, my friend… I still have a strong feeling that withdraw option gone means rejection, and not gone means admit/defer.
It’s gone for us, and I won’t be too surprised at a rejection.
It makes logical sense too.

High stats in state daughter already accepted to Michigan, Purdue and Wisconsin engineering. I have no clue what she has for the withdrawal option or admitted student option because I refuse to look and get more stressed than we already are.
My stress comes from wanting her to get in desperately so we don’t have to pay OOS tuition :joy:

For me, rejection is like being put out of my misery, accept risks a stroke, and deferral is like back to the torture cell.

You really hold the key to this mystery but I respect your decision to not help the portal astrology community… lol

I emphasize with you…

Seriously, Mel has the Rosetta Stone. If someone from IL who got in at UMich has no withdraw form, then we’re all still in the fight
