Hi -
Just wondering if anyone on here has any thoughts/experience with UK’s MT Certificate program? I can’t seem to find much on here. It seems like students can get a BM in Voice or a BA in Theatre in addition to the MT Certificate. Also having trouble figuring out at what point students audition for the MT Certificate. Would love any information on this school.

I’m not sure, but I think this MT certificate may be fairly new at this school. The BM in Voice at UK has been around for ages.
I would love to know about this school too. We got info in the mail but only general info. I wonder if you major in the BA in Theatre & then get the MT certificate . Is that like a minor?

Thank you so much for the tip that you are finding our website tricky to navigate - I’d love to give you more info on our Musical Theatre Certificate. It is new (2 years ago) and you can audition for it if you are a Theatre Major or a Voice Major at UK. Students can audition as incoming freshmen (link to register is on the website) or you can wait until you’ve been in the program for a year.
