I was looking for a quality safety school for my DD to study engineering and I was curious what you know about this school and the engineering program? All the programs are ABET accredited.

It is one of the faster growing campuses of the University of Maryland. I have heard good things about it and it would be fine as a safety school.
It’s a good school. Good safety if you’re in Maryland. Very affordable.
Hardly an expert on UMBC, but whenever I hear about UMBC, I think of it’s outstanding president, Freeman A. Hrabowski. 60 Minutes did a great piece on him and UMBC a few years ago…
