@adrianna786 I think decisions were released on the Friday, the 29th in 2016 but I haven’t seen anything later than that

Pretty much, but the Coalition site may take a while to load if everyone is checking their decision at the same time

What state school? My son got into Rutgers, where they have a pretty good Computer Science program. But NJ kids always seem to view Rutgers as a safe school. It’s sad because it’s a research 1 institution with great resources and short train ride to NYC for internships. Still though, New Brunswick is not exactly College Park. Good luck.
@Dragonxs That seems pretty odd because in all indications and postings that I have seen is that no decision letters get mailed until the Coalition gets updated.
I hope you’re right. 
For those who have access to Coalition App for their child, a sign that decisions will be released is that around noon on decision release day, the checklist disappears from the Colleges section for UMD. That probably means that they are uploading and getting ready to release them. I found this on prior EA forums for UMD. Keep your fingers crossed for today.
Does anyone know why they think decisions are being released today? Also around what time? Sorry someone already asked most likely.
@jvitale Most say the decision will be released around 4:45- 5:00. They think today because in the past years when there have been 5 Fridays in January, they’ve released on Monday’s and Tuesdays and Thursdays(from what i’ve read). They also think that it’s coming soon since the terp bus event happened Saturday. So we’re all mostly hoping that it’s today based on past precedent. Ultimately though, all we know is that it’s coming sometime this week.

Before UMD used coalition to give out decisions, yes.
I hope they don’t release the decisions and crash the site for everyone trying to submit apps for February 1st
I called the admissions office a few days ago and the women said she wasn’t sure the exact day of decision because the school had not told the office yet, but I called again today and the women at the office said she was “not allowed to tell me any specific information.” It leads me to believe it could possibly be today.

New member, never posted before knows a person on the admissions board and they told them decisions coming out today. They may come out today anyway but from I have seen on other boards on this site I wouldn’t put to much faith in that comment
