If I had to guess… and I know people actually don’t care about guesses… but provided we have 3 days possible, I would feel most confident indicating Thursday as the day. Nobody gives decisions on a Wednesday, and Friday would really be pushing the limit…
I submitted my application on Oct. 29 but mine also says completed Nov 2. I’m sure we’ll be fine since we SUBMITTED before Nov. 1 lol.

I have to say, this thread has been a nice distraction as we sit and wait for an official decision. I agree that the trolls are annoying but still. I do feel badly for people who believe what random people post. I will believe NOTHING I read here in terms of a release day, it’s all speculation, but it’s still worth following! Maybe a stupid question but just clarifying, does “by Feb 1st” mean the VERY latest time would be Jan 31st at 11:59 or Feb 1st at 11:59? If it’s by Jan 31st 11:59 then Friday seems to be cutting it very close
@bns923 It means by Feb 1st 11:59 pm. Our early action applications were also do BY November 1st, and people could still submit it on that day. So the same applies
@bns923 The consensus here is that it is usually around 5:00PM. Most of the posters here feel that it won’t happen until tomorrow or Friday. Keep your fingers crossed.
by Feb. 1, in general, typically means by the end of Feb 1 (11:59:59pm, Feb 1). But there is much confusion to this particular verbiage when referring to deadlines and calendar dates. So folks, add another potential waiting day (end of day Saturday).
Feb 1st is a Saturday, it aint happening on a Saturday is my bet…tomorrow or Friday my friends.
^this. If anything, UMD will just continue its tradition of releasing on the last Friday of January, but that doesn’t mean tomorrow isn’t an option either
