Okay how may days until EA decisions??
My application complete date is after the early action deadline
Would I still be considered EA?

@sneebar As long as you submitted everything by the deadline, yes. It just takes them a while to process everything, but as long as all of your materials were postmarked before the deadline they will accept it.

I hope so… my transcript and some other documents say received on Nov 2nd so I worried
@sneebar hey, did you ever get an email saying that they pushed back the deadline until nov. 14th because people were having trouble with test scores? I think you’ll be fine
@collegeperson20 My son’s College Counselor advised me that she heard that it will be the last Friday in January. This year the last Friday in January is the 31st. In past years, the last Friday in January has been anywhere from the 24th to the 27th. It so happens to be the odd year where there are 5 Friday’s in the month of January. @SoofDad said that his daughter found out around the 24th the last time there were five Friday’s in the month of January.
So I would hope it will be anytime after next Friday. I have been waiting patiently on my son’s EA decision to come out as well.
@sneebar Yes… mine indicate received on Nov 2 also, but my son was nervous about it too, so I called UA, and they indicated that his submission, in fact, qualified for EA!
so we thinking this friday or the 31st 
@PurpleLlama066 I think the 31st. I called them the other day and he told me we would be getting decisions at the end of this month so either Jan 31st or Feb 1st
@PurpleLlama066 I agree that it is more than likely the 31st. However, I have not seen admissions decisions released any later than the 28th over the past several years. Keep your fingers crossed that it is earlier than the 31st.

All… We have a cousin who is a senior at UMD and she let us know that she has a friend who is in the band that is riding on the Terp Bus for accepted students. That is taking place next Saturday, so can tell you that the normal EA decisions will not happen before then. My prediction is Tuesday, the 28th.

When the decisions come out will merit rewards be sent out at the same time or will we have to wait longer for them?
@bluecap - The decisions will NOT include merit scholarships. They will be sent a few weeks later by mail.
