Got it. But if it says complete, we should feel confident that it is in fact complete?
If it says complete and shows everything received, everything I am reading suggests that you can rest easy. (But I donât know exactly what the portal looks like, since my Dâs portal isnât set up yet.)
The transcripts take longer to process and may not be updated before the Nov 1 deadline. That said in the past students have forgotten to send one of the dual enrollment transcipts in time and that might move them from EA to RD.
If student reported AP test results on common app, do they need to send official AP results from college board for application to be complete? or do they just need official sat/act scores?
UMD does not use AP Test Scores for Admission decisions.
UMD is test optional but if you want scores considered then you need to send official scores. More information in the link below under Standardized Test Scores.
Thank you - just want to make sure that the application is complete by 11/1 and they arenât expecting anything else!
Admissions does not as it is not one of the 24 factors, but we do in LEP freshman review if they are provided - it is an additional strong piece of information. Self-report is fine for this; only the school a student chooses to enroll at needs the official College Board AP score report.
Thatâs good to know. Thanks for the update.
@STEMX, thank you for coming here each year to assist applicants. We really appreciate it.
This is helpful to know. Are there any other factors that LEP committees consider that arenât considered by the undergraduate admissions team?
Curious to know my sonâs chances for EA. UMD is a top choice.
- 3.8 (u) / 4.4 (w)
- 1500 SAT
- Decent rigor at a strong OOS high school
- Club sport, works a couple jobs, some volunteering in field of interest
Thank you in advance for any feedback.
