any waitlist movement recently?
I know some people have but I’m still waiting for public health to be released😙
Nothing yet. My daughter will end up committing elsewhere if no word by May 1. Given her other choices if UMASS comes back after May 1 and offers a spot she will most likely accept and we will eat the enrollment deposit at other school. Another school in the UMASS system that my son was accepted to recently extended their enrollment deadline to June 1st due to the FASFA issues. I wonder if UMASS Amherst will do the same and if/how that might impact some of the waitlisted kids? Maybe not a factor I don’t know.
Has anyone received any financial aid info from UMass yet?
People who attended yesterday’s Destination Day said the FA office said mid-April.
Curious for those waitlisted if there has been any movement. DD committed elsewhere but another school that accepted her for a spring start just offered her a spot for the fall. She declined although originally it was her top choice. I know UMASS said after May 1 IF there was a spot she would hear although so much time has passed not sure if she would make the switch.
UMass Amherst moved its commit date to May 15 . It changed its decision date later than many other schools, so all of its initial communications still assumed May 1. I would not expect to hear anything about significant waitlist movement until after the 15th.
