D26 patiently waiting. Applied to 15 schools (all EA or Rolling) and already has 9 of them back. UMass is probably the biggest reach of the schools remaining. We’re in-state and she has a 3.6UW GPA. Did not submit SAT scores. Applying into Elementary Ed. Work experience at a day care and softball player since middle school - but would not likely play competitively for college.

An email went out to EA Applicants last night stating all decisions will be released 1/16 - so much for the hope of an earlier timeline. :slight_smile: :rofl: Decisions will be Admit, Waitlist, or Deny (no deferrals).

Yeah, I was hoping for a December decision but not too surprised. I think last year was the first year they instituted one day (vs rolling notifications) and I think it was also mid January.

Did all EA applicants receive an email? Mine didn’t but portal says complete and his email on file is accurate so just making sure it was an email!

S26 got an email yesterday with the release date (Jan 16th).

OK thank you for that info. Everything looks fine on his end, but he didn’t get the email. We’re in state.

Last year they started releasing a little after 3pm, looking at the cc chats from then. However, I heard typically after 5pm.

I have a theory that ever admissions department - the last person leaving the office on a Friday presses the button as they’re turning off the office light and locking the door.
