Yeah I figured it out. If you click the link and you havnt logged in in a while it prompts you to log in then brings you to normal application portal. If youve logged in recently it shows no access.

I wouldnā€™t worry about it, Iā€™m in state and have gotten into more selective schools, I would be surprised if I get rejected but then again Iā€™m engineering so anything could happen haha

My daughter has an old email from them stating evening.

" * All Early Action decisions will be released on the evening of January 24.

  • Each EA applicant will receive one of three decisions: Admit, Waitlist, or Deny. Note: We do not defer any EA applicants to our Regular Decision pool.
  • When your decision is ready, you will receive an email with the subject ā€œUMass Amherst Application Status Updateā€"

Does everyoneā€™s portal show as yes.mass.edu as the website after you login? May have always been there, I just logged in today to see status.

does anyone know the precedent for what time the release happens?

I canā€™t remember exactly, but I believe last year my son heard quite early. Maybe 4:00. However, the whole decision notification process was completely different. They came out in multiple waves depending on the college/major and the result. So the time could be completely different this year.

Last year was 3-4pm. This year may be different.

For some reason I recall when we got the email it said 5pm but hoping earlier as my daughter will be at work at 5.
