Has anyone heard from Frost for MADE contemporary drumset? My son has gotten no information at all on his portal so does that mean he didn’t get in?
@SpartanDrew - @Derwin Hi. I was called over to this area. I am not sure of the current question, but our S auditioned into UNT and is there. He also auditioned at Frost. What would we like to know?

D auditioned for bass. Never played the prepared piece. Did some basic notes. Completely different from Berklee auditions. He made both schools just surprised on how it was handled. One would believe you would actually audition for an audition for a music school . Especially after being told how imprtant it was and that you should also try to do it a Miami which cause additional expenses.
@Derwin - I believe S auditioned in the standard way plus. Except we went there and stayed a week, so S sat in on classes, had a lesson from Tim Smith, the electric bass instructor, auditioned a couple days ahead of schedule on a Wednesday with Professor Bergeron, since S was already was there anyway. @Derwin - did your D at least do something for the professor/panel while she was there?

Went 2 sperate times to the school and spent with time with the music dept. It seemed at the time of auditions the professors were not available and someone last minute not familiar with the audition process filled in. Was never asked play the prepare piece as we did with other schools. D made all the music schools (Berklee, BU, NEC and others) with substantial scholarship compared to UM. The only reason why I could think of is the audition.
@Derwin did your D already hear from NEC? Nothing here. I suspect mine didn’t make the cut.

Did anyone hear from any other school except for Frost? I applied to their business school and mine still says “This application is complete” on Canelink.
I am a CAS student and was among those who received their acceptances later on in the day… maybe give em a call?

@themilkyway2103 I applied for arts and science. Still haven’t heard back, but I’m a transfer student Regular decision. I think transfers should hear sometime this week or next week hopefully.
@jpjfnj Acceptance packets are arriving today + tomorrow. I’m in a 3 day mail zone and I received my packet this morning. It’s beautiful and I’m so excited!

Did everyone (anyone?) receive an email from UM saying the decisions were released? I can see my decision under messages (WL) but never received an email from the school (checked all my email folders). I just thought this was weird, all of the other schools I applied to sent me an email when the decisions were posted.
NO email. Just the portal update although D received an email yesterday saying there was a new message in Canelink and it was her award letter from Frost. Their system is awful. I think a lot of kids don’t even know still.
