What time would you guess decisions will start coming out?
Last year someone got first decision at 11:37 then there was a big lull until like 2
@SlimJim005 - many universities provide heads-up on when to anticipate decisions. Overall, I think UMâs AO is unresponsive and has been. Once the deadline for EA applications passed, the AO shut down and was unresponsive to emails because the counselors, per the automatic email responses, were busy reading applications and would get back to you shortly â and, of course, never did.
I cannot wait much longer for Miami to come out, nobody from my state (Oklahoma) really goes to UM so I hope it helps my chances
Check your portals today guys! My money is on them updating decisions today. Look on your student center page and see if a new box populates with the word âAdmissionsâ as the header and the mysterious green circle or check mark saying âadmittedâ. I have one friend whoâs kid has the new green circle which points to an admission if history is any indicator. Good luck!
@SpartanDrew i applied EA and had the green dot, i also got deferred, so i doubt it indicates anything

does anyone who applied RD have the green dot? that means decisions are either today or close. EA got the dot the day decisions were released. my green dot is still there from jan
It does actually indicate that the portals are being updated today. If you look at last yearâs thread youâll see that the admissions tabs started to populate today with green circles followed by admissions decisions. Only the EA kids had that section populated early. Everyoneâs should update today with actual financials for most coming tomorrow.
I applied RD and have the green dot
I was told that the green dot meant deferred and that the dot changed to a green check if accepted. Not sure the same applies to Regular Decision.
@Waiting2023 green dot means application complete and i got deferred and mine still says that. so i mean i guess it correlates with defferal IF your green dot doesnât change into a green check. also people who got rejected saw that their application changed from completed to âCancelledâ in EA. hopefully decisions are today! I believe they started coming out around 11am-12pm for me (iâm in CA).
