is there anyway you guys can post your stats and majors you got into with ED??

1210 with a 4.7 weighted GPA. I got into the school of Nursing, but I’m switching.

Hi I’m applying EA to Miami hopefully someone could tell me what they think about my odds…

UW: 3.6
W: 4.2
ACT: 28 (superscore)
No APs besides a 3 in APUSH back in sophomore years, but been in IB classes since and taking those tests in May
EC: FBLA
Environmental
Intramural Basketball
Volunteer Junior firefighter since sept 2017

for other ED applicants who haven’t heard back, i called admissions today and they told me that this isn’t a mistake they just haven’t finished releasing the results. we can expect almost all ED decisions to be out by the end of the week and 100% will be out by the holidays.

I got in ED for business technology, here r my stats:

1250 SAT
UW: 3.55 W: 4.4 - top 16%
couple APs and a couple dual credits, i do early admissions/ full-time dual enrollment at FIU for my senior year
-was VP of speech and debate, participated in competitions
-was in a performing arts program for voice and participated in chorus competitions/festivals my freshman year
-capstone academy, law academy
-national speech and debate honor society, national english honor society
-141 hours of community service

attend a very competitive high school in Howard county, Maryland.

SAT super: 1140 (570, 570) took it 3 times WITH PREP. Wanted to take it a fourth but I was literally killing myself trying to take it, had to go to the hospital the day before :frowning:

extracurriculars: baseball, track, environmental club, co-founder of alternative debate, founder of my school’s social studies honor society, working for my grandfather, helping with eagle projects (was in scouts, made it to life), band for 2 yrs, and active AP prep student.
Honors: 2018 AP scholar with honor, National honors society, and 2018 Maryland general assembly student page finalist.
Essay: Talked about the impact of my close friend’s suicide, how I grew as a person, and what I can do to make life better for others

This is really my top choice and I need to catch a break bc man life is REALLY rough.

I have VERY similar stats 3.34 GPA 1150 superscore (620, 530) SAT with A LOT of prep and 3 sittings. From Westchester, NY.

are the EA decisions likely to come out earlier?

Hey!! I’m from miami and I heard decisions were supposed to come out Jan. 25 for EA

It seems like not very many was accepted ED

Quite a lot of people in my area were accepted ED. A good portion of those were accepted for spring though

UM just sent S19 an offer via email to switch from EA or RD to ED2.

@BigHerms I think it means that colleges want as many ED applicants as possible. They would choose their entire class from ED if it was feasible. U Miami is just taking the same strategy.
