In the Canelink Home page under personal information where it says view your UM ID, does it give you a C with numbers after? Also, once in the Student Center - in the Finances Area, do you have a message that says, “You may have outstanding charges due on your account . . . click the link below to make a payment.” I’m just grasping at straws here to get a clue, but the wait is killing me! Thanks!

@momofteen76 those have been on my portal for awhile and are consistent with portals from other schools that I have applied to. I do not believe them to be an indication of anything of import. I do not have any proof that it doesn’t mean anything, but I have ID numbers at the other schools I have applied to. If you could click through the link to make a payment, and they were ready to take your money I would be more likely to think of it as an indicator.

like a week ago, someone went into the office of admissions and they said 25th or later, the same day, someone else called and they told them early February, it changes so much

I think applying ED is the ultimate way to show interest.
@multicultural01, early February may make sense… maybe. There are two other highly ranked universities in Florida. FSU decisions, for those who had their applications in by November, come out January 31. Then UF comes out the first or second week of February. This may be U Miami deal breakers for many Florida students, especially those with Florida prepaid. I’m not sure if my correlation makes sense, but nothing in the admissions process does.
