@Freakingout23 yes, i visited twice. i had a bad math grade junior year, so i’m thinking they probably wanted to see my semester grades before making a decision on me
This is not necessarily a UM question but a FAFSA question. Has anyone received an email with a college making a correction to your FAFSA? If so, any idea of why? Thanks.
@BigHerms Believe it or not, colleges can make changes to your FAFSA for any one of a number of reasons. Sometimes they will raise your EFC and sometimes they will lower it.
If a college raised your EFC I would call immediately to ask why.

@BigHerms If your EFC doubled I would get on the phone with FA offices right away. Thats very unfortunate.

@BigHerms We got the same notification of “your school” making a change to our son’s FAFSA today, but it doesn’t say which school made a change. My husband hasn’t checked it yet, so I don’t know what it is or which school did it.
The bad news is that it seems U Miami is making changes to some people’s FAFSA. The good news is that this could be a sign of acceptance, otherwise why would they tamper with your financial info?
No change of FAFSA here…
