University of Miami Class of 2023

@astridthevalkyrie I believe all EA decisions were given out last week. I would contact the admissions office today. You should have received some decisions by now.

@astridthevalkyrie You can also check your Admission tab, go to Application status and see what it says next to Program Status. You should either have completed, admitted or canceled. If not then your best bet would be to contact admissions for a definitive answer.

@astridthevalkyrie yes contact them. i received my decision online last thursday then got a packet in the mail on monday

@astridthevalkyrie I hope you were able to get an answer. My S received his decision online last week but the packet arrived in the mail today. Since we’re out of state, I guess it took a couple of extra days. If you’re farther from FL than we are, it may still be another day or two. Good luck!

My son declined his offer of admission today. Just can’t afford with the financial package. Hopefully this will open a spot for someone.

does anyone know when RD comes out, for kids that were deferred?

Last year RD was released on 3/22.

Is anyone else’s financial aid still down?

What does differed mean? Do you mean deferred?

@grey11 mine is still down, i check everyday because i still don’t know my package it’s so annoying. someone should call today

So when the link was out for the scholarship weekend I had signed up since it was available and I just got a confirmation that I am registered Idk since I got deferred and I never received a invitation whether they don’t realize it

Nominated for Hammond
SAT: 1330
UWGPA: 3.38

Has anyone heard if stamps has come out yet?

Did you apply early or regular?

my cane link is still down

@rts3234 are you of a minority background? Because that’s usually what the Hammond scholarship is geared towards. I’m applying in two years I just wanted to know for like reference.

The Hammond requirements are on the website, and requires interview. It is an under-represented student, merit based scholarship. D has 1440/33 and very involved. Leadership is looked at closely, and sure your interview means a lot. Go Canes!
