It’s normallt requested from freshman/HS students. It’s not requested for more transfers
ugh the suspense… lol.
Good morning everyone!
I was just looking back at last years transfer thread and some applicants were being notified on 03/30/2017 which is the last Thursday of the month which would be today for us. Other applicants were notified on 04/05/2017 the following Tuesday. The year before (2016) applicants were being notified that first Tuesday of April.
So hopefully some of us start hearing today! Be optimistic guys!
@analmom that’s a bummer about the windows! Do you guys know how good it is to sleep when you heard the crickets outside due to the heat WITH THE FAN BLOWING ON YA, ugh
Sorry from the northeast over here!
“IMPORTANT: CaneLink will be down from 1:30 pm on Saturday, March 31 to 10:00 am on Sunday, April 1 due to system maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.“
I’m pretty sure there was a “system maintenance” before the freshman admission decisions were released…
@Terror great observation! Decisions were released right after.
@itzmejessie so Miami apartments would be cheaper than staying on campus?
So do y’all think we’ll hear back on Monday ?
@Hockeyfan1 I hope so
Miami is killing me. I had application complete 3 weeks ago. Then they asked for 2 things they already had. Got application complete on Monday, now on my to do list it asks for my AP scores? I am transferring with 38 credits? why do they need/want my AP scores? ANyone else?
@Syrgrlmayb12 if you rent with a roommate. It really all just depends tbh. Only reason why I’d say stay on campus is because you won’t have to worry about a car. There are just so many options tbh.
@bklyngal when i finished my application, it showed that it was complete too. just this week, they requested several documents for my financial aid profile & my college report. hang in there, also the admissions office has been very helpful everytime i called. sometimes they make mistakes & will correct it for you right there if need be
@bklyngal At least no rejection letter, they want more info. If you have less than 2 years of credits, they often consider your high school data too. We and a lot of people here have had issues with admissions and errors. Plus, each time you call, you might get a different answer. Just sent the AP scores and be (hopefully) done with it.
I had financial aid documents to submit on the To-Do list. I think after reviewing my PROFILE application, the Financial Aid department removed them from my to-do list.
But I’m afraid that what if admission rejected me, and that is the reason for not needing those documents anymore.
same I am so scared of being rejected
@terror I am pretty sure if you turned in your application on time, they will give you all of april to submit supporting documents. I think the cut off is June 1rst or something. Regardless, financial aid and admission decisions are seperate so submitted a late financial aid document doesn’t affect your admission decision
Should I be concerned, I’m transferring with 19 credits and they haven’t asked for a midterm report or my final transcript…?
they asked for the mid term report
They told me I didn’t need to on the phone and it’s not in my to do list so I don’t know if I should be concerned
