Mine finally posted and they screwed me over real good…ummmm is there a way to challenge it or is what they post basically the final decision? Idk if anyone has tried or not so thought I would ask before I call and start making people mad.

@cercit20 Have you checked your entire financial aid package? The 15k is only from the admissions office (if you’re referring to the presidential scholarship). I thought they were only giving me 15k too but yesterday I got the full package and it’s MUCH more.
@transfer9692 idk. i just checked my portal and saw that i was admitted and on the canelink it shows that i only have 15k ?? i hope it is more lol otherwise i can’t go.

@cercit20 Yeah the 15k I got in a letter, the rest I found on canelink (the desktop version). Under “finances” you click “view financial aid”. With work study and a 3.5k loan, they give me 44,945. Without work study and without the loan (so, only considering grants and scholarships) I would receive 38,445.
Hey, guys! I was just accepted today with $15,000 scholarship! So excited!
So much for decisions only coming out on Friday nights… They also didn’t send me an e-mail to notify me that my decision was made. So, if you are still waiting, make sure to check your portal regularly.

@cercit20 Nice! Yeah UM’s ridiculous with the forms. I’ve had a single item added to my to do list three different times. Just gotta call and you should be good.

Dude I am so confused right now. I was accepted on April 11 but today I found out I got 15k scholarship. It says you should pay the deposit after 4 weeks of the decision update which is May 11. So, do I have a chance to deposit or is it past? Also, why did they give scholarship so late?
Has anyone received any information for what to do next? I still haven’t been assigned an advisor or been told which of my credits are transferring so I’m pretty confused
