Has anyone received any information for what to do next? I still haven’t been assigned an advisor or been told which of my credits are transferring so I’m pretty confused
@supwithit777 You should be able to see your credit transfer report under My Academics on Canelink. Also, I’m pretty sure you’re assigned an advisor only after you pay your deposit and confirm that you will be attending.
@cercit20 what were your stats that allowed you to receive the scholarship? and did you apply for financial aid?
What are you guys thinking about regarding housing? Living on campus? Or off campus? Does anyone know the popular off campus housing areas (where upperclassmen throw parties, etc)?

I sent mine in late February and only heard back last week. Turned out my high school transcript was missing. They only let me know about my missing transcript in the beginning of May.
@Smdanc it was first deemed complete before the march 1st deadline but they confused me with another person with the same exact name as me. So, they deemed it complete again on march 28th. I received a decision on May 23rd and just received the packet in the mail today. P.S. I wish you the best of luck and hope you get in!!!
Hey guys, is anyone else having difficulties registering for classes? I submitted my deposit last Monday but I haven’t been assigned an advisor. I’m freaking out because all the classes are totally full. I went to UM today but literally no one has an answer lol

hey sorry just recently got accepted, I don’t understand the credit transfer report ? how do you know whats being taken ??
@Smdanc What do you mean you don’t understand it? You can’t find it or you don’t know which courses are being taken?
Once you get to the transfer credit report it clearly states the classes that have been satisfied. For example, I took “ENC 1102” at my previous college and on the report it states “ENG 106” - both are English II, so that class has been satisfied.
There are some courses, however, that have to be evaluated by an advisor or a specific school. For example, I took “ACG 2071” at my previous college (managerial accounting) and on the report it states “ACC 100T / TRANSFER CREDIT ELECTIVE”, which means that it has not yet been evaluated. The school of business or my advisor has to evaluate it and it will eventually be checked off and marked as “ACC 222”.

How do you apply for housing? I am a rising sophmore transfer and would like to stay on campus.
