Looks like Regular Decision (Incoming Freshmen/Non-Transfers) applicants are starting to get their decisions! This means we are next I wouldn’t be surprised if we start getting them late next week but I am sure they’ll be out that first week of April.
@AnalMom did your son send in a mid term report to be accepted in to miami or did he have to wait for his final transcript to come out
@byrd98: No, but he already had two 2.5 years of credits so that may have been enough for their evaluation. He’s attending 2 years at UM.
So they just asked for my college report again with the comment that they “need discipline issues addressed”, but there are no discipline issues to be addressed lol. I gotta call yet again tomorrow smh.
I hope after all this trouble everyone gets in you guys seem like a har
dworking bunch
Doh, obvious typo, my son had 2.5 years of credits when he transferred.
We had issues with the admissions staff too last year but haven’t had any other issues with UM administration, so once you get through this, should be smooth sailing.
Hey everyone,
I just spoke to UM admissions and now I was told that decisions for transfer are on a rolling basis. The decisions could be coming out sometime next week if not then for sure that first week of April.
Thanks!
Question guys, does anyone else have
NCP 2016 W2 , Noncustodial Parent Profile
on their todo list?
@Syrgrlmayb12 yes I had on mine also, but I did take care of it. You have until April 15th to submit it but I would suggest uploading it ASAP.
but what does it mean? l’, going to submit my parent’s one today. @ruizjeancarlo
@Syrgrlmayb12 Noncustodial parent(NCP). On your CSS profile, you stated that your biological parents are divorced/separated.
So that means that your NCP has to upload their documents, even if they’re not contributing to your expenses.
I’ve heard that it’s very situational if you need it waived. No workarounds from what I know.

It’s all for financial aid purposes, it doesn’t have any impact on your admissions decision. It popped up on mine as well, but because I’m a veteran, I’m considered an independent student, so I don’t have to submit any information about my parents. I called, and they removed it promptly.
i am so nervous to hear back… even if i did get in though i don’t think i would receive enough aid to attend
lol well good luck to us all
i feel like because I submitted my application around march 1rst I won’t hear back until later later… Are they responding back to all applicants by april 15th?
Where can we find our admissions decision?
@cercit20: You will hear later. My son submitted mid-April, heard mid-June. Meanwhile, others who applied earlier had already been accepted.
@adamkennedyt: Check your Canelink. It will state if you have a message.
I’m really hoping this week will be the week we find out. My nerves are killing me lol
Had a dream last night that we got our decisions, woke up right before I saw the decision! Don’t know if its a sign, but I have a strong feeling decisions are coming out on Friday for some reason! If they do come out this week, I just wanted to say good luck to everyone applying, you guys seem like you’re very smart and hardworking people, if we do get in, see you all in August!
Omg I had the same dream last night but I dreamt I got waitlisted idk why @CaliBoyDownSouth I hope we all get it soon!
Haha,
That’s really funny because I had the same dream mid last week. I am really hoping we all get in!
