I just wanna hear back today lol
Any updates? The patience is killing me
Doubt it’s gonna be this week, I remember when I applied as a first year (last year) I heard March 22
I’ve been checking every like 15 mins… nothing yet
lol
are you currently a freshman @mishk90
who is a freshman trying to transfer this fall semester
To anyone who’s nervous about getting decisions: Even though this might not apply to everyone or even most of you, but I sure hope it helps:
UMiami is my dream school. Architectural Engineering is my dream major. It’s all I’ve wanted to do. I remember being completely devastated at being rejected when I first applied as a Freshman. Luckily, I got over that dissappointment, but not my dream. I decided I was going to work hard and get the grades needed for transferring.
Luckily, I ended up getting into a good school, met great friends for life, good professors and in a good city. At one point, I was contempt to the point that the UMiami dream started to fade away.
It was only back in September that I told myself: “Remember why you wanted to go there in the first place”. And so, I decided to apply.
Sorry about rambling on and on, but the thing I’m trying to say is; to everyone here nervously waiting for a decision, if something happens and you don’t get in, its not that big of a deal. Just remember how satisfied you are to be where you are right now, happy amongst close friends. It’ll push us to work harder and get back up. Oh, and if you’re still adamant, there’s always next semester.
I hope this helps, good luck.

@byrd98 I am. I thought I heard somebody say decisions were released weekly on each Tuesday? Any truth to that?
they asked me for my spring final transcripts because they said there was not enough information on me to make a decision. I sent them a mid term report is there anything on your todo list @bbm217 @CaliBoyDownSouth
No, applying as a soph
I’m a transfer. Applying as a junior
@byrd98 Nah, all they wanted from me was the mid-term report. I can’t afford to wait for my final Spring transcript if they ask for it though, as I need to find housing for next year and most places are selling out fast
Hey for anyone that submitted the financial aid, how long did it take for them to process the information? I took the photos and submitted it last night.
I’m a transfer applying as a sophomore for business
@Syrgrlmayb12 the FAFSA took like a 24-48 hours. But the documents that you have to upload on Collegeboard took approximately 5 days to finalize everything.
I called today and they said mid April -_- but it seems like they say something different every time
I think it’s gonna be mid April too so God help me please because I wanna know where I’m gonna go next year lol
I’m literally holding out on other schools for UM, so they better get to it! Girls gotta make moves
I don’t think we’ll get anything this week but I think we’ll definitely get some next week and the following and that should be it! Ugh I hate waiting
@Syrgrlmayb12 I totally understand!! same!
