General Comments:
Just got back from the stamps/singer weekend, hopefully it went well

Congrats to both of the two newly reported acceptances.

@samsiss: The acceptance to West Point is particularly impressive. You must be proud. And she’s a Republican!! What more could a parent ask for?

@samssis, I believe that I sat with you at the parent portion of the program. My son was the only boy in the group… Your daughter is a very impressive young lady. Good luck to her!

@spidermom03, thanks for the compliment. I am hoping that the weekend brings new options for them both! What did he have to say about the weekend? D thought it went well, and I am pretty sure the U moved up in her rankings. She seemed to really enjoy the model class and honestly, the sunshine!

@AsleepAtTheWheel, thanks! She even got to meet the past Governor, so it’s been a great experience for her, even though it’s left me a bit jealous.

@samssis, he enjoyed the weekend. He thought that his interview went well, although interviewing is probably not one of his greatest strengths. We went to the class on aging, and he thought that was very interesting and liked the professor. I loved the sunshine, but my son was not as thrilled with the heat. I think that the weather is his least favorite thing about the U, but as I told him, it just seemed really extreme since we went from 5 degrees to 78 degrees within a period of a few hours. He is starting to like the idea of being able to play baseball and soccer year round, though. Definitely a contender now - we’ll see what happens . . .
