Does anyone know when the LSA Honors decisions get released?
Straight from the horse’s mouth - an email from the LEAD program in response to my question about the timing. It said “by” the 26th, and when I asked for clarity they said “on” the 26th. Also note - they only send out Yes emails. So, no email = no LEAD.
@TeresaSCV I’m not sure if Honors is sent in waves but my D24 received her LSA Honors acceptance a couple of weeks ago or thereabouts.

Michigan has parent groups and student groups like on Facebook. You can even email or chat with Michigan about different one’s that might align with what you need.

Have you received any responses to legit instagram pages? My son is looking for a roommate and feels like he might be missing something as there doesn’t seem to be a lot of activity.
My son was able to find a roommate on the UMich2028myc Instagram account. He was looking for an honors roommate, saw a couple posts from some honors students, and reached out to them. There are many UMich insta accounts but this one seems like the most active account for incoming UMich students.

@kgordon011 my DD has been looking at a variety of accounts but hasn’t reached out to anyone (yet). I’ll point her to UMich2028myc as I’m not sure if she’d seen it. There are a bunch, including at least two or three with over 1000 followers.

The uMich2028myc account has over 6000 bios from incoming students. Many more are pouring in daily.

Not yet afaik, though reminder that no email = no LEAD award. They don’t send “you didn’t get it” emails.

Not yet. I sent an email to the Leads email address and this was the automated response:
Hello, thank you for your email regarding the LEAD Scholars Program! First off, congratulations on your admission to the University of Michigan! That’s a huge testament of your dedication and commitment to your academics. We send our best wishes to you!
We have made first round offers. We plan to make a final round of offers by mid-April so students will know if they are receiving the scholarship before the May 1st enrollment deadline.
It is very unlikely we will make offers after April 26th. To complete the process, we send anyone who we did not offer a scholarship a final status update in early to mid-May.

Ha funny that contradicts to what they told me in an email, but glad they’re doing that.
If anyone got the LEAD email today, would you please say so? No need to provide personal details. It’s just to let everyone else know that the decisions have been released. We’re waiting on that to make the final college decision. Thank you!

Look on reddit, Facebook. This is a very small segment of the national population of applicants and applying to Lead makes it that much smaller.
