I think I read somewhere that you will not get an email if you have seen your decision in the portal (ie if you madly refresh between 2:55 and 3:05pm haha), but otherwise you’ll get an email saying that your portal has been updated, and then you check the portal for your decision.

I will guarantee everyone if you set your phone for this site for vibrate… You will definitely know when acceptances went out… Lol 
will they send out rejections tomorrow or just admits and deferrals?
While some will think there are no rejections during EA, they certainly do reject.
On CC, which skews high stat applicant, there are very few posted here, if any in some years.

Notification
All admissions decisions will be posted on Enrollment Connect. When your decision is ready to view, you will be sent a notification via email from Michigan.Admissions@umich.edu with the subject line “Your University of Michigan Application Status Has Been Updated.” The decision notification email will NOT be sent if you have already viewed your decision. Please add this email address to your safe list so that your notification does not go to your junk or spam folder. However, given variations in online security, we recommend that you check both your inbox and junk mail folders just to be sure. Notifications will be released to the email address you provided on your application. If you need to update your contact information, you can do so using the “Verify Application Answers" button on the Application menu of Enrollment Connect.
Applicants who have been admitted will also receive paper correspondence. We will send your admissions decision to the address you provided in your application; if you have provided a mailing address, we will send the decision there. If you have only included a permanent address, that is where your decision will be sent.
We are unable to give decisions over the phone; it is your responsibility to monitor Enrollment Connect for your decision.

This program is only offered to applicants who have had inequitable life circumstances growing up and provides help to “bridge the gap” before the Fall semester.

from the videos I’ve seen, if its a postpone doesn’t it tell you as soon as you log in? like there isn’t even a view decision button to press meaning if there is a view decision you likely got in? (assuming not a rejection)

I have a Freshman at UMich. We are on the west coast and she received an email at 12:16 pm on Friday, January 27 stating that her application status has been updated. She was admitted EA. Just fyi that for us it came a bit after 3pm (ET). Good Luck to everyone! I have another daughter who is anxiously awaiting tomorrow’s decision as well!

Any new portal astrology
I’m actually on campus today. Suprisingly none here is worried about it- oh wait, they already got in. Haha. But everyone is really friendly, met with so many faculty. Facilities incredible. Terrible rainy day.
(We are here for audition) but the vibe still great. Hope it works out for D24 and for all of you too!

If you open up the portal on your computer, spin around 4 times (counter clockwise) while chanting the alphabet backwards, then point a pencil at the screen and loudly screech (no longer than 10 seconds), and your screen turns purple, that’s a sign you’ll be accepted tomorrow. (Source: The hairdresser of a cousin of the sister of a UMich AO who also happens to be a wizard told me it works)
