is being able to still a pretty good sign tho
no it never locked so im getting concerned
that’s because everyone that was able to probably booked the times. Right? Either that or admissions saw that we could see it was telling us and took them down, which means it probably was indicative of admissions.
They’re gone on the calendar for me as well and I already signed up + got a confirmation email …
I can login to the thing but the calendar is blank. Can anyone still sign up or did they catch on to this method?
they caught on most likely. before it shut off I was not able to book so most likely deferred for us.
Proof that michigan admissions is watching this blog!
or they just noticed people signing up. because people were actually booking times.
When I click on the link and sign in to my daughter’s account, it says Congratulations to your admission to U of M. But the calendar is blank. Does it say the same thing for everyone?
yes
Yup, guessing admissions caught on and blocked people from signing up before decisions release which was what I guessed would happen
Does the congratulations me anything? Same message for us
I don’t think so. everyone has that.
No it doesnt
yup, that’s what i’m seeing. i dont see any available dates.
Do we think if we weren’t able to book, it definitely means we were deferred or denied? Would everything already have been uploaded (I assume so).
This happens yearly and means nothing. Just have fun trying to figure all this out.
I just called Admissions. The woman said that they aren’t adjusting the release date information right now - sticking with “by the end of January”. It sounds like last year there was a similar thing with signing up. She did say that if you can register and you weren’t admitted that they will call you and cancel the invitation. She also said not to read into it if you can’t register because they are still uploading statuses into the system for students. She was a bit confused when I was talking to her about all of this so take it with a grain of salt. My gut feeling is that if you could register, you’re portal is probably flagged as accepted. If you couldn’t register, either they haven’t updated your status yet, you are deferred, or you are denied. For those of us that couldn’t register, hoping it just means that the status isn’t updated yet.
Wisconsin just posted no EA release this week.
I saw that, that’s why I think Michigan is waiting until next Friday as well
