University of Michigan Ann Arbor Early Action Fall 2025

What does that look like for a dual degree student where one major is in north campus and one on main? Is it still doable?

Postponed. Sucks.

Anything at Michigan is doable… Your student will sit down with an adviser and make it work. My son had his major and two minors. That’s 3 different advisors that work together… They can talk to admissions now to get a feel. But admissions on both majors

Ross is in Central with Engineering in North. Given that Engineering (CS) requires more hours I assume it would be better to live in North Campus and take the shuttle for Central. Central is definitely more ‘lively’ so social life might suffer. But if one is doing Dual Degree probably not worried about social.

Has anyone else heard back about Computer Science advanced selection? I think I got in, but it’s not entirely clear

Deffered

Does it say in the CS Advance Selection Status Tab “You have been selected for the computer science major as an advance selection applicant.”

Yes, that’s exactly what it says. Does that mean I got in? What would it say if I didn’t?

I guess it would have the word “not” in front of selected.

Congratulations!!

Regular decision app is tomorrow if someone is applying for the first time this year for RD.

Does anyone know approximately how many deferred students end up getting accepted

What is Ross Preferred?

I would always submit a 1490! That’s a great score and definitely wasn’t the reason she was deferred. GL in RD.

That’s if you apply for a Dual Degree (eg. BS in Comp Sci @ Michigan Engg + BBA @ Ross Business School). The Mich Engg decision comes out first, followed by CS 10 days later, followed by Ross in February. The BBA parallel degree starts in sophomore year.

That info is not known.

I have no info on this but since they postponed so many, I would think the % is very small?! Just pure guessing.

Deferred from CS advance selection. COE. What are the chances of getting accepted in April?
