Has anyone received an email yet confirming acceptance? I wonder if those are sent all at once or if they are staggered?
BTW – it seems like every applicant was a “captain” on their HS sports team? Are there any non-captains out there? 
hi y’all, i was just admitted after getting deferred to college of LSA and thought it might give some hope. I am an OOS student from California with 3.8 UW, 4.0W (gpa went up to a 4.5 junior and senior years) and 1340 SAT, 30 ACT. Extracirriculars were okay to good. I think I got in because of my essays. Anyway, I just wanted to share this to show that not everyone admitted is perfect and sometimes these forums overhype how hard it is to get in.
What is up with such a high percentage of the acceptances being OOS?
Spaghetti123: What do you mean “you were just admitted”? Did you just check your portal, or did you receive an email admitting you? Congrats!!!
I checked my email. I can’t figure out the portal bc i lost my UMID so i’m waiting for the package in the mail. Thanks!

Got a Yes from Ross!!!
At about 2.30pm, our LS&A Admission Application status said
“This application is no longer active”
I got really afraid and called admissions and was told that it was because the Ross decision was being released and once you get into Ross, the LS&A status changes. Was waiting for 5pm - and just had the “view Decision” tab pop up. Good Luck to everyone else Have faith and hang in there.
Any more decisions?

@techbrain Were you already into LSA before today?
S was deferred EA back in December. It’s a HUGE reach for him to be admitted CofE, especially seeing the stats that are posted here. However, he’s still deferred. I would have expected he would be an easy “reject”. Do you think the fact that he hasn’t been rejected yet should give us any optimism or is just that they haven’t gotten thru all the apps yet. He’s already picked another school so it’s not a live or die, just curious.
So hopefully a wave tonight?!
A couple questions I hope somebody can answer:
Have any COE decisions come out today?
Will there be another wave for COE tonight?
When is the next release date?
@sushritto thanks for the stats. This is so discouraging as my daughter, OOS, 4.43 weighted GPA, 4 unweighted, SAT 1470, lots of EC including leadership and National music honors. She sent a LOCI that was acknowledged with a brief response from the admissions officer. We are from VA and I haven’t seen anyone yet from our state. Sigh.
@spaghetti123 Super helpful and you give my D hope. She has about the same stats as you and applying for LSA. Were you offered any $$ for coming from CA?
Certainly seems like the stats of accepted students are starting to come down from the earlier wave … question is: how many more acceptances will be left for the final round(s)?

I’m guessing that probably no more are coming out today, especially since spring break starts tomorrow for them. I was really hoping to get accepting, but it looks like I won’t be getting in.
