No, that’s not a good idea. The rules prohibit double depositing. You could call both schools and ask for a deposit extension though…however, I would be surprised if they would push it out a month. But no harm in asking. Are the external scholarships renewable for 4 years? If not, Michigan won’t be affordable in years 2-4. Are they very low chances he would be awarded the large dollar scholarships?
