Many, many accepted students /families also just can’t afford the school.
I still think the amount getting off the wait list won’t be that much more. I think they are just honing down on the class size now. It’s an art for all school’s to get to that magical number per school.
Not sure if this was a one-off or part of a bigger wave, but a student from our HS got off the LSA WL today (OOS). Major might be economics, but not positive. (Had intended to go to IU Kelley, but 99% sure this student did not apply to Ross.)
I saw three on the FB Parents 2025 page but none that mention Ross (all three on the parents 2025 page were LSA). Was the Ross post on that Parents 2025 page or a Michigan page? I know you’re waiting for Ross (although happy with UGA) – I’m rooting for you!
I saw a response that said “my child got into Ross but decided to go elsewhere.” Then clarified that he got into Ross early action but was accepted to an Ivy League regular decision. Might have been a different post - that was from today, though.
I saw it on the FB Parents 2025 page just an hour ago. But the post seems to have been removed now. The parent mentioned their son was committed to UPenn for a Math major but just got off the Ross WL today so was looking for advice on which school would be a better option. There were about 20 replies to that post as well.
We are in same boat, losing hope. There were a lot of acceptances so I believe it’s a second wave. That said, it’s seems there were some one-offs in between waves. Good luck
