Welcome back for another year of decision and anticipation with knowledge and learning. Please ask questions about the school and the EA/ED process. Many that will be answering questions are parents with children that have gone to or are currently at University of Michigan -Ann Arbor. I have been on this threads for years. As we learn about new things , which happens yearly now, they will be posted. My son graduated in 2021 in Industrial Engineering. IOE. My wife went there in 1983. I lived in Michigan growing up and have been a fan of the school/ sports as a kid. I live in Chicago currently.
One thing. We are NOT the school. Everyone here does their best to answer questions. But also the school is very friendly and calling admissions can get a lot of your questions answered as well.
Just a few rules. Be Kind and helpful. There is no bantering back and forth unless I am the one doing it. 
. Sometimes we (I) get something wrong. Just let us know and it will be correctly. We are all human. This is not driven by AI…yet.
The application process can be difficult for some and a breeze for others. Let’s just help each other out.
