Seems like some schools deliberately want to release close to Ivy day. Not picking on Michigan, looking also at CP-SLO and Berkeley(and their portal astrology).

CP-SLO did a big admittance wave on March 14th. There may be some admittances trickling here and there but they’ve already done their WL around and rejections are next. Berkeley has already made it known that their release date is Thursday the 27th.

I know all that. I meant a curious timeline(3 weeks in march) for a school with no essays and berkeley apparently uploaded results last friday leading to a portal astrology thread with 2000 posts. Anyway no more posts on this and back to Michigan.

Based on historical trends, it will most likely be Friday at 3 PM EST. They will post something on their Instagram that day.

When has the portal gone down for RD in the past?
Based on past year trends portals have been shut only for EA decisions. For RD only the withdraw button disappears around noon EST of the decision date.

Oddly, there is suddenly a “log out” button at the top of my kid’s application portal. She had been saying for weeks/months that there was literally no way to log out, now there’s a big button. They must be prepping the website for heavy traffic, maybe? (So people can actually log out? Why do that now, tho?) Odd.
