Waitlisted - that just means rejected, right? My friend was trying to tell me how it wasn’t really a rejection but I’m pretty sure this is their version of a rejection. Honestly wasn’t even upset, already put my deposit down at OSU because I had a strong feeling this was coming and I was never going to be able to afford it. Go Bucks!
Ahhhhh accepted ToT I was deferred EA and was pretty bummed out… it feels good to be accepted somewhere after being waitlisted/rejected by so many other colleges… too bad I probably can’t afford umich 
I don’t think you can compare wait list actions from this year to prior years. The whole process has been altered so that they don’t over enroll. I’m guessing the list will be worked far into June or July.

hey guys, I have a question for you all, and I would really appreciate if you had any insight to provide me. michigan has been my first choice for the last year or so but the financial aid has not come through. I recently just got into UCLA and Berkeley (coming from OOS California) and my parents are definitely looking at those because of the instate tuition. from each of the two UCs, I’ve received pell grants and gift aid for a total of around $20k per school. how much do you think michigan could probably provide me? I am still 100% on board with michigan, but slowly losing hope because of this money issue…again, any insight would be so insightful. thank you so much.

I’m a bit surprised based on all the people who have gotten in at my school, but I most likely will not be accepting it (I’m so sick of waiting!). I have a 3.9 UW and 30 ACT. I’d love to know what was so weak about my app that couldn’t get me in, but I was thinking of attending MSU over U of M either way so I am not too upset. Good luck to everyone who will be attending!
Based on what i have read it seems that most of the EA people got waitlisted or rejected, with only a few acceptances. So i dont know what to make of this if maybe the waitlist is just a nice rejection or maybe there is a lot of hope since they did say more waitlist people will be accepted idk. im frustrated and it sucks that we have to wait so many extra months
I would think we could get a wait list response back by mid-May because by then they will know for certain who won’t be attending due to the May 1 deadline. Hopefully they can turn around the decisions quickly. After that I’m guessing only very small batches would be released based on the students from the wait list who accept/decline offers.
My daughter was deferred EA and waitlisted for LSA today. We’re in state and live 30 minutes from both UM Ann Arbor and UM Dearborn. She was accepted to UM Dearborn last August within one week after applying and will probably attend there.

@kr2015 She can apply to transfer to Ann Arbor next year. It is quite easy as long as she has good GPA.
My D is EA differed and still waiting. How to login to web portal to find out her status. It is asking for uniquename. How to get it?

@kiwirocks She should have received an e-mail long time ago right after she submitted the application to instruct her how to set up a UM Friends Account to check the application status at WA.
I applied early action and got deferred. I got my decision yesterday and I found out I was waitlisted. I was wondering if it would be worthwhile at all to accept the waitlist. I feel like too many people get waitlisted that its not even worth accepting.
When I went to the Wolverine Access page, I put in my Friend Account email and they said my account exists. But I still cannot see my Application Status
I was deferred EA also. Haven’t received any updates on Wolverine Access and no emails.
