<p>I don’t know. The thing is, there have been people who have been rejected today as well.
This can mean that for those who haven’t heard, you’re still on the cusp, and it will depend on the regular admission applicants. </p>

<p>I would like to see an official rejection letter…I know, it is kind of sick and sad, but I just want to feel the burn to get acclimated to it. </p>
<p>all bc deferred students didnt get it today, doesnt mean youre rejected, because batches have been going out for weeks now including rejections and acceptances !!! dont worry!!! write a letter explaining your passion for the school! a guidance counselor of mine is also writing me an extra letter of recommendation!! so ask urs too! </p>

I got the email 3pm EST! I live in China so I saw the email after I got up 
I think Michigan does rolling admission so don’t worry, your decision will come! Just chillax and wait

<p>It is probably just too difficult to post a rejection letter. I know some kids at my school are concerned because they heard that this is the largest group of applicants ever and are giving up. Sending deposits to their second choices… And, I think too many letters going to the counselors bug them. </p>

<p>Hi everyone. As was posted earlier OOS daughter got in to Kines earlier today off EA deferral. Logged on WA and saw “view decision” under application status and clicked and showed accepted. Actual acceptance email came almost 5 hours later. For what it is worth, she got the “good” deferral letter. She also wrote a handwritten letter to her rep explaining why she wanted Michigan. It was short but genuine. She called once but then not again and waited like many of you for weeks and weeks. But then it came so as much as it is stressful, it can still happen any day. She is thrilled. </p>
<p>I was deferred but did not receive any message yesterday. Can somebody tell me the difference between the bad and good deferral letter? Thanks</p>

<p>The type of your deferral letter means absolutely nothing in terms of final status.</p>
<p>I have a question… I was just scanning through my WA until I came upon my Credentials page. I sent in my midterm grades in mid-January, but on WA, there is nothing that indicates whether they received it or not.</p>

<p>Nothing about midterm transcript…does anyone else’s look like this? now im getting worried that my transcript might not have been received. i should have checked earlier ugh</p>
<p>^^^ Midterm reports don’t show up, but I called them and they confirmed that they received mine. So they surely have yours. </p>

<p>As far as I know, there is no difference between the types of letters. However, there is definitely a different tone between them which is probably why people started saying there is a “good” or “bad” one. I got the “good” one.</p>
<p>@detroitnr1 that’s not entirely true that midterm reports don’t show up…my WA account shows under credentials that “HS transcript and School Report” date changed. It used to say received 10/30 on it but then was changed to 1/29 . I assume this was changed once the midterm grade report was received. So it is safe to assume that the most recent date they have received any grades etc will appear on the view credentials link.</p>
