<p>Not to be THAT guy BUT…UM has made it clear that Friday has nothing to do with anything. They actually made a point to stop feeding the rumor mill on College Confidential…which I found semi-amusing.</p>

<p>I was deferred from early action to engineering and I got an email from Michigan two days ago saying that I was accepted to Michigan only if I switched my application to LSA for the upcoming summer term. Today I got my acceptance email to LSA. Did this happen to anyone else? </p>

<p>I think that UM will take its share of statistically challenged students as well. By that I mean, students who are NOT outwardly blowing the charts up with stats. I really do believe they look at the individual and see exactly what they have to offer. Yes, I believe a majority are shining stars…but I also think they give a few diamonds in the rough a nod as well…God I pray they do!</p>
