@S0U10H03 Not exactly. You start at Ross your Sophomore year of undergrad.
They should stop tweeting and just release decisions lol…
any thoughts about tomorrow?
@JoeGoe So I’m gonna guess there is no way you can transfer freshman year?
@collegeplease123 You can apply as a freshman for entrance sophomore year. That’s what my friend who goes there now did.
@JoeGoe Thanks for the clarification. Best of luck to wherever you’re headed.
I think ALL decisions will be released tommorow.
@S0U10H03 Such optimism. I wish I had that. But in all honesty, I too have a feeling
I spoke to the regional admissions counselor today. He said that “they are close to finishing”, I assume that meant reviewing applications, and my Son would probably receive a decision near the end of the month. He said they likely will not release any more large Friday batches. When I tried to clarify later in the conversation, I mentioned first week of April and he replied “No, you’re probably looking at late March…probably the 27th”.
During this conversation he had looked up my Son in his computer, so I don’t know if he specifically knew when our decision was to be released, or that the 27th may be a release of the majority of the remaining notices.
I called to try to get a good read on my Sons chances, or if they have reached a decision for us because I want to travel to Ann Arbor to visit the campus before we make our final decision. It’s a 12 hour drive each way so I want to certain it’s not for nothing (I’m not gonna say the R word). We have visited all colleges that he’s applied to except Michigan and Princeton. SO, hopefully in a couple of weeks its a NC to MI to NJ then back to NC trip for us!!
I would be exhausted from all of that driving, but you can’t put a price on a solid education and the future of your kids!
@ECE2397 The 27th is a Friday.
I aware that the 27th is a Friday… thanks
Lol…
Last year, they announced a large batch of rejection and waitlist on 3/28.
@billcsho Would you happen to know the waitlist statistics from last year? I.e., how many got in from the waitlist?
So will there be no acceptances -only wait-list and rejections?
@collegeplease123 In the last few years, there was almost none admitted from the waitlist. However, it is going to be changed this year. They said they will admit less by April 15 and make use of the waitlist this time to fill the spots left after May 1 decision.
I think many schools will be using their waitlists more this year. Many schools over admitted last year, apps are up even more this year, and everyone is watching their yields. So a waitlist could end up being a yes. Just my feeling.
Does anyone think that a batch of decisions will be released tonight?
I AM SO DONE WITH COLLEGES. REJECTION AFTER REJECTION AND ugh makes u realize what a waste of hard work did all 4 years. guess my 50 all nighters haven’t paid off
It is kind of a crap shoot, you study hard four years keep up a great gpa and do well on the act but if you not a 1%er your left hanging in the wind hoping admission chooses you however they throw the dart at the admission board. that being said keep your head up, you are worthy. you will end up where you are suppose to be.
