TBH the US has some pretty bad safeties imo, having Canadian schools as your safeties is the best. If I don’t get into an ivy, I dont spend 240k, if I get into an Ivy, i get the name. It’s a win-win.
Well, I will elaborate. If rejected, take that as a motivator, and prove to Michigan that they missed out on selecting you. (By doing well in “said” safety school.)
Yes but that should be ingrained in you to begin with. These are all just mere schools. Some good, some bad, some overrated(Cough cough, columbia), some underrated(Waterloo). However, if you do get into a Harvard-level school and you take a break for a “moment,” imo, it would be useless. That’s why I am not even gonna celebrate if I will get accepted to my dream school, because in the grand scheme of things, what have I really accomplished? I got into a university, albeit a good one but still.
Valid points all around. So, back to Michigan, is it worth it to check at midnight? Lol, I’ve just figured that I would just wait for the e-mail
I wouldn’t check at midnight because they didn’t promise us anything. Just sit tight and check WA every chance you get.
Someone said a new link appears when ur decision is up, is it on the first page of wolverine access, or on the application status page?
@DAIMYO application status next to view credentials
@DAIMYO It is on the application status page next to the two other links.
waiting for the day application status changes to VIEW DECISION
OMG OMG OMG OMG DECISION IS not UP!!!
^THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME A MAJOR HEART ATTACK. THAT’S JUST WHAT I NEEDED AT 12 IN THE MORNING!
Your welcome!
Does everyone have the “accept/decline financial aid” link under the financial aid tab on their portal? I’ve got like 6 links under it. Does it mean something even before I’ve received the decision or does everyone has it?
@Digitallyshrewd This information has been on mine for a while now.
@Digitallyshrewd Nope, everyone has it. No decision yet here…
They should specify the date as of now.
Anyone that got accepted around 2/26 that had been deferred EA hear back from Ross yet? If so, will we get emails or was it on Wolverine Access?
What’s Ross?
Ross School of Business. Most students start in a different school and apply to Ross once there but some get in as Direct Admits (very hard) and just wondering what other Ross applicants are experiencing.
Oh so it’s like Brown PLME but for business
