University of Michigan Early Action Class of 2019 Discussion

I would recommend checking out the lodgings off of S. State St on Boardwalk and Victors Way. There’s Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Sheraton, Courtyard Marriott, etc. They are very accessible if you’re driving or renting a car at the airport and less than a 10 minute drive to campus (without traffic which is a killer during move-in). I urge you to book now even though you won’t have an actual move-in date as these hotels book fast. I would also suggest booking now for Family Weekend which is Nov 6-8, as these dates will be closed out soon too.

Remember what all the tour guides say, don’t bring a car to campus unless you also bring a parking space for it.

Its fine for a parent to have a car on campus for a couple days orientation. Students - no, they rarely would want to have a car on campus the whole year.

My S is still waiting for SMTD

@Tysp8963 have you checked Wolverine Access? Spam folder on his email? Sounds like some students had UM mail end up in spam.

Decision Link appeared this morning on Wiolverine Access just waiting for my S to get home from school before we click it. I think it is unlikely to be good news this late in April. At least the wait is finally over. If he doesn’t get in he will be going to Western. We tried!

Anyone else on the waitlist? Any updates from anyone who’s talked to admissions?
