<p>Son accepted OOS! So excited! SAT 2390, 800,800, 770 on subject tests, 4.7 GPA</p>
<p>I was accepted to Michigan!! 28 ACT and 3.89 GPA. International student form the bahamas!</p>
<p>Note that acceptance came through email and that the website has not yet been updated to indicate a decision</p>

<p>So, STAMPS school from U of M keeps emailing me asking if I looked at their stuff. Which is annoying because I didn’t even apply to STAMPS, I applied LSA. So when I keep seeing U of M in the header of the email it makes me get excited! But no email yet.

<p>Accepted to College of Engineering. Submitted app on November 1. 2320 SAT (submitted late however, 2220 SAT submitted on time), 770 Chem, 800 Math II. Good recs and extracurriculars.</p>
<p>All of my friends that applied to Science and Arts who had great statistics (2200+ SATs) got deferred. It looks like engineering was more likely to accept early than LSA this time around.</p>
<p>EDIT: Also we’re all OOS (most Massachusetts, one Maine).</p>

<p>Do you think the standards for UMich got much higher or is something else up? Just upset because my school’s data on Family Conn shows an avg GPA of 3.82 and ACT of 32 and I got deferred with a 3.90UW and 36 :(</p>
<p>I’m a freshman at umich and I’m with my gf right now who is about to find out. U guys need to hear this bc you shouldn’t be freaking out. First off, I got in oos from westchester ny with a 1940 sat 650 bio subject test 750 us history subject test and a 3.5 weighted gpa. I also did cancer research and had a letter of Rec from a professor. However, a good friend of mine from my class got defered with a 2370 and 4.0. But guess what? He got accepted into LSA honors in the spring!!! This school knows what good talent is and they will find it! U guys all have what it takes!! GO BLUE!</p>
