<p>I don’t mind being deferred, but seeing other OOS people getting accepted with the same/lower stats than me is devastating. </p>
<p>Im so fricken done. Its like Mich deferred all these highly qualified / over qualified kids for LSA for some reason.</p>

<p>DEFERRED LSA. 35 ACT, 800 and 760 subject tests, 4.0, science fairawards, founding member and president of a club, nhs secretary, community service, cross country, other leadership positions in clubs.</p>

<p>Not to be disrespectful, but can someone please explain why overqualified applicants got deferred (comparing OOS with OOS and instate with instate)???</p>

<p>Per the website, once someone is accepted to LSA (and if you applied for Ross) then Ross looks at it. So, I think, right now, everyone is getting into LSA - then you hear from Ross later</p>
<p>@Fri612 Except that I didn’t apply to Harvard, or as a matter of fact any ivy’s, or Stanford. The only other schools I applied for were Rice, Duke, and JHU (as well as state schools ofc, but CoE at uMich is probably Berkeley level)</p>

<p>I GOT IN!!! LSA Computer Science, 29 ACT (I know!), OOS, high GPA and top 2% of class, tons of EC’s. I honestly was not expecting this.</p>
